Will Hair Extensions damage my hair?

No not at all, if Hair Extensions are applied and removed by a qualified Hair Extensionist and you follow the recommended aftercare guidelines.

What hair do you use?

How long does it take to fit them?

A full head can take approximately 2 to 4 hours to fit depending on which method you choose.

How long do Hair Extensions last?

If maintained regularly, our Hair Extensions can last up to 9 months.

Can I dye my hair whilst I have Extensions in?

Yes you can dye your hair but try to pay attention to your natural hair/roots, as not to cause damage or drying out of the Extensions.

Can I use hair straighteners, a hair dryer, hot rollers and other styling equipment?

You can treat your hair as you would your own hair.

Can I use products on my hair?

You can use products on your Extensions as you would your normal hair but it is advised to avoid the root/bond area as oils, lacquers and various products may cause build up and could cause the Extension to loosen and slide out.

How long should my hair be before I can have Extensions?

Your hair should be long enough to put in a ponytail even if it is a short stubby one.

Can I go swimming with my new Hair Extensions?

You may swim, go in the ocean, in fact do all activities as normal just follow your aftercare sheet.

Who cannot have Extensions?

We do not recommend having Hair Extensions if you are pregnant, you are suffering from hair loss or you are receiving Chemotherapy. Your hair and scalp must be strong and healthy.

What preparation is needed?

If you dye your hair you should dye it at least 2 weeks before your fitting. Then a colour match will be made to ensure you get the right colour for you.

What should I do on the day of my fitting?

1. Wash your hair with clarifying shampoo to remove residues
2. DO NOT use conditioner or styling products
3. Style your hair in usual parting
